We are happy to celebrate life with him this year since he has had quite a fight to make it to this day. We were able to spend some wonderful moments with her this year as she was preparing to depart. This photo was taken in May. She had a difficult time but never complained. She set a strong example for the rest of the women in the family of how to handle adversity, suffering, forgiveness, loving always and creating a "home". We are having a great time. Weather is mild and lovely. So are we. She is enjoying my friends, visiting with her cousins in Spring Hill, reading books and crocheting. We printed her Christmas letter and I had fun putting her photo on the letter. Here it is for all to see. Now Mom is on the Internet! Wow, pretty cool place for an 86 year old Great Grandma to appear.</em></div><div><em> Everyone keeps saying how lovely she is and how fortunate I am to look like her, and I agree. I am very grateful God gave me such a neat Mom, lovely in looks and gracious, gentle, and generous in personality.
